Daylight Savings Time Change

On March 10th Daylight Savings Time begins.  Don't forget to set your clocks ahead on Saturday night before you go to bed so that you can get up an hour earlier in time for church.

Senior Fun Day

We will go to the Nampa Senior Center, 207 Constitution Way, Nampa, ID  83686, on Wednesday, March 6th.  At 11:00 AM, there will be musical entertainment by Jerry and Judy Van Buren and the Jammers.  The lunch will be served at Noon and is $5.00.  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.  If you have any questions, please contact Pam Harris.

Teen Work day at the church

On Saturday, March 9th, we are asking all teens to help participate in some Bush Trimming at the church. We are asking that if you can come, please bring bush/hedge trimmers and large clippers, if you can. We'll begin at 10:00 AM and go until about noon or until we finish. If anyone has questions, please contact Nathan Ellison.  He'll be sending an email out to the teens with more details.

Communion

On March 17th we will observe the Lord’s Supper in the Evening Service. Please be preparing your hearts and minds to remember the Lord giving His body and blood on our behalf as we “do this in remembrance of [Him.]” A Benevolence Fund Offering is collected after each Communion Service. If you would like to help minister in this way, there will be offering plates on the Communion table.

Chinese New Year Event

Come join us for a Chinese New Year Celebration from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, February 17th.

Calling all teens! Join us for a time of food, fun, and fellowship around God's Word!

Our overnight youth rally is Friday, March 22nd @ 1 pm - Saturday, March 23 @ 1 pm.

Our overnight rally starts at 1pm on Friday, March 22nd. 

Check-in opens at 12:30pm. Dismissal is Saturday, March 23th at 1pm. Supper, breakfast, and a sack lunch are provided 

(we are unable to accommodate all food allergies). 

We’ll have 3 chapel services and 3 team group

Men's Bible Study

Thursday Feb 1st, 7-9 pm in the Fellowship Hall.  This month we will start with 1 Corinthians overview and then go from there.  We stopped at the beginning of chapter 5 last time we worked on it.  We will review 1-4 and then proceed, hopefully through the end of the book.  Bring questions you may have been pondering and we will try to make time for them.

Ladies Bible Study

Ladies Bible Study will start again on Thursday, February1st at the church in Room #107 at 10:00 AM.  The study books are available to purchase for $7.00 from Alice Bergdoll, any checks should be made out to FBC.  The new study curriculum - "Answers in Genesis" will be introduced and reviewed at the first class.  If you have any questions, please contact Alice.

Ladies' "No-Host" Brunch

The Ladies’ “No Host” Dinner is on the last Wednesday of each month.  Until Daylight Savings Time begins again, we will have a brunch at 10:30 AM.  This month, we will meet at Café De Coco, 117 13th Ave. S, Nampa, ID  83651 on the 31st.  If you have any questions about the dinner this month, contact Christina Acrey at 208-965-7320.  Bring your friends!  The Facebook page for the dinner is titled FBC Ladies No-Host Dinner.  Please RSVP so we can make reservations appropriat

Pinewood Derby Work Day

We will have two Saturday Workdays on February 10th and 17th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sprague’s home.   The Spragues have the saws, sanders, paints, weights, and other tools needed to help you get your cars made.  You can start thinking about what you want your car to look like.

Pinewood Derby Car Block Kits

Car Block Kits are available Sunday, January 28th.  Parents, please accompany your children to get their car block kits.  Truth Trackers (grades 1-6), teens, and adults can get a car block kit for $5 each.   Wheel sets will be $2 each.  We have also been given hot wheels cars for the Tiny Trackers.  Those will be available on February 18th, the Sunday before the race.  

Peter Wright Visit

On Sunday, January 28th, Peter Wright will be with us. He will speak to the Teens during the S.S. hour and he will preach during the Morning Service. Peter is an instructor in the music department at Maranatha Baptist University and is now the Director of Recruitment

Pinewood Derby

Our Pinewood Derby is coming!  Kids, parents, teens, adults, and anyone in the church or visitors, who want to participate, can be involved in the Pinewood Derby.  The date is February 24th.  Check-in will start at 8:30 AM.  We will have online registration this year at fbcidaho.org/derbyreg and the race rules can be found at this website fbcidaho.org/derbyrules. Adult Choir
