Servant Leadership

Our Pastors and Deacons serve together as a team,

partnering together for the Great Commission and the building up of God's flock.

Jeff Estes

Senior Pastor

Pastor Estes has been Fellowship Baptist Church's Senior Pastor since its beginning, August 11, 2002.

Pastor Estes is committed to faithfully preaching the word of God and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. He has expressed a burning desire to make a difference for Christ in the vapor of life yet remaining. Time is short, and there is much to do. The path forward is discipleship. By His grace and with His help, we will seek to make disciples for Christ here and around the world. Pastor and the church family are partnering together to attempt great things for God's glory.

He graduated from Maranatha Baptist University in 1991 with a degree in Pastoral Studies and from from Bob Jones University in 1992 with a Master's degree.

Pastor Jeff married his wonderful wife, Nora, in 1993. They have been blessed with eight children. They are Abby, Lydia, Jonathon, Bethany, Heather, Kaylee, Charissa, and Joseph.

Phil and Jean Thomson

Deacon and Wife

Phil was saved as a teenager after a Jack Wyrtzen Crusade in his home area. He met my wife at Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music where he was training to be a Missionary Pilot. The Lord directed him away from piloting and into aviation electronics (Avionics). They served for 15 years with New Tribes Mission (now known as Ethnos 360), 9 years in Douglas, AZ and then after deputation, 3 1/2 years in Senegal, West Africa. After leaving the mission, we have served in our local churches wherever the Lord has directed us. We came to the Boise area in February, 2007, and immediately began attending Fellowship Baptist Church. Phil has served here as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon, and as the Truth Trackers children's ministry director.
