Scott and Amanda Miller are missionary appointees to Peru with Baptist Mid-Missions. Both Scott and Amanda grew up in Long Beach, WA. Not long after college, as new believers, they moved to Alaska to teach in the remote Indian community of Metlakatla. During this time the Lord began to lead them into full-time Christian service.
In 2001, they yielded to the Lord’s leading and began to serve Him at Gateway Baptist Church and helped to start Gateway Christian Schools there. In 2002 Scott and Amanda were blessed with the birth of their first child Noah, and then in 2004 the family grew to four when the Lord blessed with the addition of Abby Jo. In 2012 they were blessed again by the birth of Jack Aaron.
Their sending church is Gateway Baptist Church in Ketchikan, Alaska were they have been blessed to serve for a number of years. Now, they are excited about the opportunity He is giving them to serve on the foreign field, engaging in church planting, Christian education, and discipleship.
